Just read this thread over on halfchan. Had been wondering myself if the DNC knew this was a losing battle which is why they've kept Joe pretty much hidden in the basement until just recently, and the last minute rallies, if you can even call them that, are really just for show so that libtards can't say they lost because he and Kamala have been basically no where to be found.
