The local jewish community federations and jewish community centers fund summer childrens camps in various places around the country and around the globe

one of the biggest ones is in, you guessed it: Colorado. Camp Ramah, Ramah of the Rockies.

Worth a close look. There are others….the Jewish community centers around this country are centered around community aid, and the one in my area is curiously situated near the area of the city known as the most needy.

Some funds are used for the jewish community members themselves. Some funds are used specifically for minority populations in the area.

where I am, it appears that the jewish folks surround a low-income area, cut it off from the rest of the city, and use donated money to "help" the residents' children. they set up all sorts of ngo's and other organizations to flood those areas with "help"

Curious that they don't seem to ever rid those areas of true poverty or of drug abuse or of violence.

year after year after year

and nobody seems to catch on ~ and noone ever says "thanks, but no thanks"
