I’ll tolerate a redundancy - it’s a style issue. But malapropisms are semantic - and they get my goat!

 

Gambit/Gamut is unusual, as neither word is particularly common.

I see no urgency to buy if this is not a “need a home” situation. Interest rates can be expected to remain low for some time. I also expect an uptick in foreclosures because of the last 9 months, which will lead to increased inventory (in due course) and hold down prices in affected areas. Hard to tell whether there will be any significant price reversals - so much depends on this election and on what develops in CA.

 

It’s not an investment market I’d be looking at today, as there are too many significant unknowns. I don’t believe anyone would be doing much beyond guessing to tell you otherwise.
