Potus can't get 4 more years so there's no reason for Q to prop him up.
The anti-corruption theme is the only one left…. so in that sense Q would have to die and be reborn.

There's very little actual info in terms of drops.
Certainly nothing "classified". Some of the obscure "China" references, Huawei etc. do pan out properly - but they were available at the same time in various columnists writings.
My guess is that Q is composed of 2-4 people, a few of these have changed since the beginning.
The majority of the drops are text snippets taken from the board itself. The code obfuscation creates a neat feedback loop in the reader… on one hand they are part of it, on one hand they get something back.
This deepening self referential mystery is one of the main reasons it's so addictive.
