I dream of the days when people were sensible and objective

When the news was actual news. And not biased hit pieces

When the moral fabric of society came from God's commandments. Not man's pleasure

When the Truth mattered and Justice was equal under the law..

When children were prescious not prey

When we worked with honesty and integrity because one was qualified for the job, not what unuon you are in…

When we were not being attacked because of a political affiliation but everyone cared what's best for the country

When we could say Merry Christmas without offending someone

When we had freedom of speech and freedom of assembly without being pelted with rocks, red paint and pepper spray

When the oath of office and testimony under oath meant something

When the american flag was a symbol of freedom and justice, not endless wars

God forgive us, how far this country has strayed from the values we once held dear..

Is there a way back from this point?
