Just a guess, but either she requested Thomas or Roberts declined to come out that late at night.

 

Could also be a signal to the Democrats that they are ineffective at keeping her out, just like they couldn't keep Thomas out.

He was supposed to insure a more conservative approach to the cases accepted by the SC for consideration.

They are hiding him again to weather the shit storm.

 

They are hoping if he wins, the "can't indict a sitting President" rule will stay in force.

 

I'm thinking he made a deal with Kamala. He is president for a few weeks (he gets "president" by his name in the history books, invokes the 25th, and she gives him (and maybe Hunter) a full pardon.
