New fires popping up

In addition to silverado fire

There is a new fire right at the 91fwy and the 71fwy interchange, burning from the Green River Golf Course up into Chino hills state park

Burning for a little over an hour so far

Doesn't look like endangering building yet

Also looks like it's going to stay north of Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda for now, thank God

Just want to thank the anons for all the kind words

If it does come to the biblical

I am hearing evacuations incoming for Yorba Linda

Green River fire is heading that way

Carbon Canyon Road was just closed

That is the only artery through China Hills State Park

Once the 91 shuts down there will no arteries between orange and riverside counties.

You will have to go south to Ortega Highway (74hwy) across to Elsinore

Or go north to essentially Los Angeles and take the 60 or the 10 over to San Bernardino

Santa Ana wind event in SoCal

Gusts up to 100mph in some canyons

Silverado Fire popped off early this morning

Burned a LOT of home in/near Irvine, CA

Up to 60,000 evacuated so far

My power has been off for hours now so I don't have local news.

Fresno Canyon is the one I am looking out over

Silverado canyon is like, 4-5 canyons over from me, along the Santa Ana Range, or the northern end of Saddleback Mountain

Fire is currently on the ocean side of Saddleback Mountain burning from around Black Star Canyon at the north end, down to Modjeska Canyon at the south end (maybe not that far south yet)

And burning towards the coast, being pushed by offshore winds (the Santa Ana's)

The second fire, the one I can see

Is right at Green River road and the 91 freeway, on the Chino Hills State Park side, burning into the State park.

Thankfully I am on the other side of the freeway, and it is burning away from me.

But away from me is TOWARDS yorba linda and anaheim hills

I hear they are beginning evacuations.

I think the Green River Fire is possible arson

My dad thinks the silverado fire started at the dump that is off the 241 toll road in silverado canyon

So who knows on that, arson also possible
