To any patriot federal person of authority: If local ISP's try to stop us from accessing the net will LEO's intervene? At what point do techies go secure our communications from bad actors? I am sure you have this handled, but the fear pron is level is high.

The only thing stopping you from hopping on the net with the cable company is your modem serial number that is tied to account status. They can refuse to train the modem and allocate an IPโ€ฆ but there are holes in the system. If you plug into a generic IP line, there is no accounting just addressing.
