Years later, a different artist I never heard sing the song, and there's so much more meaning. The City of New Orleans represents the Mississippi, which is literally the lifeblood that helped spread development that created our Great Nation.
Yeah, those cities in the videos have some trouble right now, but this is a Great Nation full of all sorts of GREAT PEOPLE.
