In the 1880s, Procter & Gamble began to market a new product, an inexpensive soap that floats in water. The company called the soap Ivory. William Arnett Procter, William Procter's grandson, began a profit-sharing program for the company's workforce in 1887. By giving the workers a stake in the company, he correctly assumed that they would be less likely to go on strike.

The company first dipped into radio in 1927, underwriting NBC’s “Radio Beauty School” to advertise Camay perfumed soap.

 

Then, in 1930, Chicago radio station WGN hired Irna Phillips of Dayton to write “Painted Dreams,” a domestic serial drama. The format was appealing to P&G, as research suggested women would prefer to be entertained while they did housework. wiki

For those not familiar with the subject, Bernays is part of the Freud family.

P&G is no longer family owned. The family history is a whole other story. My _____ married into the Gamble family. The family was co-opted and although the heirs are wealthy, they do not control the company. When the company was being pieced out to the globalists there was a nasty power struggle that included murder of family members.

 

There are a ton of Ivory soap ads to review for social engineering implications but I am posting this ad because it looks like HRC and that's just freaky.

Many, probably most, of the news people we see on TV are drama or public relations grads I would suspect. Schools will offer PR degrees within the Journalism Department, but it is an entirely different discipline. But PR is "where the $ is" so they attract that crowd.
