I remember reading months ago about the CF distributing HIV meds to Haiti and it was huge scandal that they were fake meds being sent there. Imagine the billions they raked in by paying for the high cost of HIV meds here and then actually delivering fake meds there.

Drugs made in India are far cheaper than drugs made in the US. However, if BO lobbied to keep drug prices high and the CF bought drugs from US based CF, the Foundation will pay the US price. The actual cost of a "legit" drug is a fraction of what US prices are.
If CF found a company that would actually make the HIV meds with inferior ingrediants, then the actual cost would be even lower, thereby increasing the Foundations profit.
It's nothing new. We've suspected for a long time the corruption runs deep.
