They are going to go all-out in a desperate attempt to try to stop Trump from declaring victory

Can you think of any other time in the history of the United States when measures have been taken in advance to try to prevent a presidential candidate from declaring victory on the night of the election? It is difficult to believe that this is actually happening, and it is yet more evidence of how badly our system has deteriorated. Of course President Trump may decide to declare victory anyway if he has a significant lead on election night, but any such declaration will immediately be branded “illegitimate” by the mainstream media, the big tech companies and everyone else on the left.

For months, pundits on the left have been trying to convince us that President Trump may have a lead initially but that Joe Biden will surely be victorious once all of the mail-in ballots are finally counted. They are going to be pushing that narrative no matter how large Trump’s lead is, and they are absolutely determined to squelch any talk that Trump has officially won.

For example, on Monday Twitter announced that it will be “pre-bunking” election misinformation. In particular, Twitter will be “warning that there may be delays in full election results” and that there may be “misleading information” about mail-in votes…

Twitter said Monday it would take the proactive step of alerting its users to potential misinformation in preparation for unverified claims about the November 3 US election.

The short messaging service said it would place notices at the top of user feeds warning that there may be delays in full election results and that people might see “misleading information” about voting by mail.

Do you think those notices are directed at Democrats?

Of course not.

Their goal is to keep President Trump and other Republicans from declaring “premature” victories, and Twitter has stated that no such claims will be allowed until races are “authoritatively called”…

THE REVELATIONS OF WIKILEAKS: No. 9—Opening the CIA’s Vault

On Feb. 6, 2017, WikiLeaks released documents detailing the Central Intelligence Agency’s espionage program in the months leading up to and following France’s presidential election in 2012.

The agency used spies and cyberweapons to infiltrate and hack into the major political parties with competing candidates — the Socialists, the National Front and the Union for a Popular Movement. Their candidates — respectively François Hollande, Marine Le Pen and incumbent Nicolas Sarkozy — were also spied upon individually, as were many other prominent political figures.

The objectives of the program included ascertaining the contending parties’ political strategies and platforms, their views of the U.S., and their relations with the European Union, with other European nations (Germany, Britain) as well as Israel, Palestine, Libya, Syria, and others. The CIA’s French operation lasted 10 months, beginning in November 2011 and enduring until September 2012, several months after Hollande won the election and formed a Socialist government.

WikiLeaks’ disclosure of the agency’s project bears a special irony: It was just as WikiLeaks published this material in 2017 that the CIA helped propagate unsubstantiated (and later discounted) “intelligence” that Russian hackers and propagandists were interfering with France’s presidential election that year. Similar allegations (similarly lacking in evidence) were floated as the European Union held parliamentary elections in May 2019.

As WikiLeaks reported at the time of the releases on the CIA’s covert activities in France, those revelations were to serve “as context for its forthcoming CIA Vault 7 series.” WikiLeaks’ apparent intent was to display a CIA’s hacking operation in action.

Vault 7, the subject of this latest report on the history of WikiLeaks disclosures, stands as the most extensive publication on record of classified and confidential CIA documents. Never before and not since have the agency’s innumerable programs and capabilities been so thoroughly exposed to public scrutiny.

The history of the CIA, reaching back to Allen Dulles’ tenure as director (1953 to 1961), indicates that from its earliest days it entertained a diabolic desire to accumulate the power to operate with no reference to constraints of any kind, including those imposed by ordinary standards of decency. In this way it was effectively the id of America’s exceptionalist consciousness. What we see in the Vault 7 series is the perversely logical outcome of this culture of limitless impunity and immunity.

By the end of 2016, the hacking division of the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence had more than 1,000 hacking, malware, virus-implanting, remote-control and Trojan-horse programs in its inventory. These comprised more than 700 million lines of computer code.

Former CIA and NSA officials told Consortium News that a line of code costs roughly $25 to produce, putting the cost of the agency’s hacking tools over the years these programs were developed at $175 billion. “The CIA had created its ‘own NSA,’” WikiLeaks noted when it began releasing the Vault 7 publications, “with even less accountability and without publicly answering the question as to whether such a massive budgetary spend on duplicating the capacities of a rival agency could be justified.”

What follows are accounts and summaries of the most significant of the 23 Vault 7 releases. We present these chronologically, the earliest first, to give readers a clear idea of how WikiLeaks organized and presented the Vault 7 project.

Year Zero

March 7, 2017

With the publication of “Year Zero,” it was immediately clear that WikiLeaks had penetrated into or very near the core of the CIA’s cyberoperations. This first Vault 7 release is comprised of 8,761 documents and files obtained from what WikiLeaks describes as “an isolated, high-security network situated inside the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence in Langley, Virginia, the agency’s headquarters.

Dark Matter

March 23, 2017

Projects developed in the “Dark Matter” program were designed to penetrate Apple Macs and iPhones with what is called firmware — that is, malware that continues to infect the units attacked even if the OS is reinstalled. “Sonic Screwdriver,” a sub-project in this group, allowed attackers to install and activate computer code while users booted up these Apple devices.

WikiLeaks’ “Dark Matter” release also included the manual for using the agency’s “Nightskies” program, “a beacon/loader/implant tool” intended for attacks on Apple iPhones. “Nightskies” had been upgraded by the time WikiLeaks received the Vault 7 documents. “Noteworthy is that Nightskies had reached Nightskies 1.2 by 2008,” WikiLeaks observed, “and is expressly designed to be physically installed into factory fresh iPhones, i.e., the CIA has been infecting the iPhone supply chain of its targets since at least 2008.”

Marble Framework

March 31, 2017

The “Marble” program, consisting of 676 source code files, was specifically intended to incapacitate anti-virus software programs and block the work of forensic scientists and investigators attempting to trace the origin of malware, hacking attacks and Trojan horse attacks.

The core function of Marble is what the CIA terms “obfuscation,” that is hiding all traces of an agency intervention from investigators. Marble also has a “deobfuscating” capability. This enables the agency to reverse an obfuscation so that investigators detect what appears to be evidence of an attack’s origin.

It is with this deobfuscating tool that the CIA can mislead investigators by implanting false evidence in the attacked device or program — for example, by leaving signs that the language used in a malware attack was not English but, say, Chinese. In addition to Mandarin, the languages Marble was capable of false-flagging were Russian, Korean, Arabic and Farsi, Iran’s national language.

Marble’s anti-forensics capability made “Marble Framework” among the most significant of the Vault 7 releases, not least due to the timing of its publication, very shortly before the intrusion into the Democratic Party’s email servers. As the DNC, the FBI, and the CIA constructed their case purportedly proving Russia’s responsibility for the theft, they cited malware metadata with extensive script in Cyrillic.

Vault 7 comprises what remain among WikiLeaks’ most extensive publications for their penetration into the CIA’s culture of secrecy. As earlier noted, it was in apparent response to the launch of the Vault 7 series that Director Pompeo signaled the U.S. government’s campaign to extradite Assange from Britain.

This case is now proceeding. If Assange is extradited to the U.S., he faces 18 charges of espionage and conspiracy to intrude into a government computer system with combined maximum sentences of 175 years.

There is a final irony here of the sort typical of the Trump administration. Jennifer Robinson, one of Assange’s attorneys, testified last month at Assange’s extradition hearing in London that Trump offered to pardon Assange in the course of 2017 if he had agreed to reveal the source of the DNC email trove leaked in 2016 that was published on WikiLeaks.

The offer was conveyed at a meeting with Assange by Dana Rohrabacher, the then Republican congressman, and Charles Johnson, an associate of Rohrabacher’s with ties to the Trump administration. Given that confidentiality is WikiLeaks’ most fundamental principle, Assange declined the offer.

Media Reacts

By the time WikiLeaks began the Vault 7 series, U.S. media in particular, and Western media altogether, had followed the U.S. government’s lead and turned decisively against the publisher with which they had previously collaborated. Press and broadcast coverage of Vault 7 releases reflected this. Reporting of the Vault 7 series was minimal and avoided any examination of the profound political and legal questions Vault 7 raised.

The New York Times and The Washington Post reported the release of “Year Zero” as a spot news story. Both papers reviewed in broad-brush fashion a few of the programs contained in the first Vault 7 release, as for example, in these paragraphs from the Times story :

“The documents amount to a detailed, highly technical catalog of tools. They include instructions for compromising a wide range of common computer tools for use in spying: the online calling service Skype; Wi-Fi networks; documents in PDF format; and even commercial antivirus programs of the kind used by millions of people to protect their computers. A program called Wrecking Crew explains how to crash a targeted computer, and another tells how to steal passwords using the autocomplete function on Internet Explorer. Other programs were called CrunchyLimeSkies, ElderPiggy, AngerQuake and McNugget.”

Kamala Harris: ‘We all have PTSD from 2016’

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s running mate Senator Kamala Harris, D-CA, lamented to voters in Troy, Michigan this week that “we all have” Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from the 2016 election when President Donald Trump won.

“You guys are seriously, you guys are seriously gonna make this happen,” Harris said. “You know that. I mean, you know, we all have PTSD from 2016, yes.”

Harris explained how Democrats can learn from the mistakes of 2016, highlighting that “in Michigan, we missed that election on average by two votes per precinct, think about that.”

She said, “Two votes per precinct on average. And what that tells us, right, is we want to be motivated by optimism and understanding what we know and what we have the power to do. Ifwe just turn out just an extra three or four more votes per district, we win. Right? Per precinct. So, this is doable. We can do this. We will do this. We’re gonna do this. We’re gonna elect Joe Biden the next president of the United States. Yes we are. Yes we are and you guys are gonna do this.”

Attorney General Bill Barr Uses Nationwide Riots to Push for Police State Expansion

Attorney General Bill Barr has done little if anything to bring justice to ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter rioters who have razed cities, caused billions in property damage, and waged war against the Bill of Rights and Constitution in recent months.

However, he is focusing on exploiting the leftist violence to further federalize local law enforcement and coerce them into using facial-recognition software and other Big Brother technology to prey on the rights of Americans.

Yale University Professor Phillip Atiba Goff ran through some of the most problematic recommendations from Barr’s policing commission in a recent New York Times op/ed.

“Since this spring, when Americans watched George Floyd take his last breaths as a Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck, we’ve borne witness to the worst that this country’s criminal justice system has to offer: continued extrajudicial killings, failure to hold officers accountable and state-sponsored violence against those standing up for justice. It’s hard to imagine that things could get worse. But draft recommendations from a Trump-appointed policing commission prove that they could,” Goff wrote in the op/ed.

“I say this without exaggeration: the president’s commission was considering recommendations that could transform this nation into a dystopian police state,” Goff added.

In addition to calling for a national database for facial recognition, Barr’s police commission calls for more invasive snooping into cell phones. The feds want tech companies to create backdoor access to encrypted devices, which would not only be a violation of privacy rights for consumers, but would also open up countless avenues for hackers to gain access to sensitive information.

“With the support of a sympathetic judge, law enforcement would face a lowered barrier to searching the contents of your phone, or adding photos of you and your friends to a nationwide facial recognition database. If the officer used excessive force in the process of obtaining that phone and claimed qualified immunity as a defense, the federal government would be obligated to regularly affirm their support for that officer’s defense regardless of the evidence,” Goff explained.

“It’s not a full-fledged surveillance state,” he concluded. “But it’s not far off.”

Liberty Conservative News has reported on how a positive side-effect of the BLM movement has been an increased concern regarding the dangers of facial-recognition software:

CommonPass: New COVID Security Measures Make Health a Prerequisite for Travel

As the multi-sector, global response to the coronavirus tightens the noose around civil liberties, CommonPass stands out as one of the most appalling and dangerous attacks on basic human rights in the name of public health.

Imagine standing at a TSA security checkpoint on your way home for the holidays. You’re getting ready to go through the awkward travel procedures instituted almost immediately after 9/11 when the Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) was created and air travel in the United States morphed into a search and seizure operation with the implied possibility of your detention and interrogation.

The initial outrage such expressions of implicit state violence caused early on eventually gave way to begrudging acceptance. But now, a new layer of “security,” that could restrict freedom of movement even further, is being rolled out at several ports of entry in partnership with health technology industry leaders, academic institutions, and government health entities in more than three dozen countries.

A new digital certificate called CommonPass, designed to serve as a clearance mechanism for passengers based on a health diagnosis underwent its first transatlantic test on October 21 under the watchful eye of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at Heathrow Airport in London. There, a group of select participants embarked on United flight 15 to Newark, New Jersey after being screened and tested for COVID-19 at the point of departure in a largely ceremonial exercise that included initiative co-founders, Paul Meyer and Bradley Perkins.

The app’s first trial run took place with much less media fanfare last month on a Cathay Pacific Airways flight from Hong Kong to Singapore and marked the beginning of the CommonPass pilot project launched by The Commons Project non-profit organization in-tandem with the World Economic Forum.

Travel industry insiders claim that CommonPass will allow international travel to resume before a COVID-19 vaccine is made widely available by applying standard methods for certification of lab results and vaccination records of travelers through the CommonPass Framework, based on criteria set by the governments of each port of entry.

Bill Gates Calls For Next U.S. Stimulus Package to Fund COVID-19 Vaccination of Poor Countries

Self-proclaimed pandemic authority and Microsoft founder Bill Gates is calling for the next round of U.S. stimulus to fund billions of COVID-19 vaccinations for poor countries around the world.

Specifically, Gates would like the next stimulus package – which has been at an impasse for weeks – to make a “special allocation” to the Gavi Vaccine Alliance, an organization which the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation helped found and has given hundreds of millions of dollars to.

“The U.S. is a generous giver to Gavi…All the U.S. has to do is make a special allocation to Gavi to procure [COVID-19] vaccines,” Gates said in an interview during Yahoo Finance’s All Markets Summit on Monday. “In fact, some of the bills in Congress…have had sums of money for that international response. So we’re hopeful that when there is a stimulus bill, it will include this money to buy vaccines for the poor countries.”

The Microsoft founder would go on to say that the funding needed would make up less 1% of the stimulus spending.

“The portion of resources required to do that is less than 1 percent of the stimulus bill, and it’ll just be amongst the various measures to help out there,” Gates said. “That would be in alignment with the U.S.’ past history of being very generous and playing a leadership role in global health.”

This allocation would top the over $2 billion of taxpayer money that has been donated to Gavi from the U.S. since 2001 and a recent USAID pledge to donate $1.16 billion over Fiscal Years 2020-2023.

The U.S. has contributed 11.9% of Gavi’s operating budget between 2016-2019.

Some estimates show that the total cost to manufacture and distribute a coronavirus vaccine to the 2 billion poorest people in the world will range somewhere between $12 billion and $16 billion.

Gates notes that both Republicans and Democrats are on the record for supporting the COVID vaccine initiative “and so we’re hopeful when there is a stimulus bill, which of course is not totally clear, that it will include this money.”

On Tuesday, Senate Appropriations Chairman Richard Shelby said “we’ll come back in November” as the Senate departs for a pre-election break with no stimulus deal in agreement.

Azerbaijan Claims It Assassinated Defense Minister Of Nagorno-Karabakh, While Armenia Captures Syrian Militants In Combat Zone (Videos, Map)

The US-sponsored ceasefire in the Nagorno-Karabakh collapsed. So, Armenia and Azerbaijan continue pound each other and make victoriuos statements.

On October 27, Azerbaijani sources released the video allegedly showing the assassination of Lieutenant General Jalal Harutyunyan in a drone strikes in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Azerbaijani sources claim that he was killed. These reports were denied by the Armenian side.

“This is the second time the Azerbaijani press has been spreading false information about Jalal Harutyunyan – he allegedly died. I must say right away that nothing threatens Mr. Harutyunyan’s life, and the wound he received in one of the combat positions, fortunately, is not serious, and very soon he will return to the army,” Vahram Poghosyan, a spokesperson of the Republic of Artsakh Pesident, said.

Nonetheless, the Karabakh leadership appointed Mikael Arzumanyan a new defense minister of the self-proclaimed republic. While Armenian sources say that Harutyunyan will soon return to the army, this move indicates that the situation is more complicated that they want to admit.

https://youtu.be/31L-bj5rlYA

On October 27 evening, the Armenian Defense Ministry released a map showing their version of the situation in the contested region. Even according to this map, Armenian forces lost almost the entire south of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijani forces are close to the Lachin corridor, a vital supply route from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh. An interesting fact is that the Armenians still claim that the town of Hadrut is in their hands. According to them, small ‘enemy units’ reach the town, make photos and then run away.

https://youtu.be/AWI9OAbgNkc

https://youtu.be/Riv0Ol-pMPk

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also made another address to the nation confirming that the war continues.

According to Azerbaijan, Armenian forces regularly shells settlements and towns behind the front line killing civilians. Baku reported on October 27 that at least four civilians were killed and 10 wounded in Armenian strikes on Goranboy, Tartar, and Barda.

After the month of the war, the Turkish-Azerbaijani bloc continues keeping the initiative in the conflict and exploiting its advantage in air power, artillery, military equipment and manpower. The coming days will likely show either Ankara and Baku are able to deliver a devastating blow to Armenian forces in Karabakh in the nearest future or not. If Armenian forces repel the attack on Lachin, they will get an opportunity to survive till the moment when the ‘international community’ finally makes some real step to pressure Turkey and Azerbaijan enough to force them to stop the ongoing advance. If this does not happen, the outcome of the war seems to be predetermined.
