It may have been an undercover sting and the money may have been necessary to prove a crime occurred. Just guessing.
I haven't watched yet. Not in the US. Did Bobulinski mention the Chateau Marmont himself in the interview? That would be a big harpoon aimed at Schiff, if so. Bobulinski called Schiiff's bluff on the Russian misinformation, I know, but mentioning he Chateau Marmont as well is gloves are off territory.

Would be a huge take down. Exposes the entire impeachment scam. No one lied more often or more blatantly than Schiff.
