…a real Karen would call attention to portraits, old portraits, in gilded frames in Italian cathedrals. Some artworks in those cathderals are admirable, as are some statues, but some are off-the-wall scripturally deceptive to put it nicely. One head n shoulders portrait I saw (eyesore) on Isle of Capri had The Madonna wearing a crown-of-thorns. I can't see any basis for that. Why not just put her on the Cross?
