With Mars closer, it would be easy (for an advanced civilization) to colonize, as it would have been very near to the Earth, until the red planet got too close. Despite the extensive research digs on this, I'm still missing pieces and likely have a few pieces incorrect, thus open to many possibilities to this hypothesis. This leads to interpreting symbolism as records of these sky events. The dig continues.
