The U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia warned Americans on Wednesday about a potential "missiles or drones" attack later today.

In the security alert posted to the embassy’s website, the warning says the attack may be launched in Saudi Arabia’s capital city, Riyadh.

“The Embassy urges American citizens to stay alert, and to immediately review and take necessary precautions,” the warning states.

“If you hear a loud explosion or if sirens are activated, immediately seek cover,” the embassy's warning says among a list of suggested actions to take should the missile attack commence.

In an interview with Vanity Fair previewing her next term in office, New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez condemned Donald Trump's alleged tax maneuvers and revelations in The New York Times that he had only paid $750 in federal income taxes.

“These are the same people saying that we can’t have tuition-free public colleges because there’s no money … when these motherfuckers are only paying $750 a year in taxes," she said.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. Senate Commerce Committee hearing on a key social media legal protection was briefly delayed when Facebook Inc Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg struggled to appear remotely.

“We are unable to make contact with Mr. Mark Zuckerberg,” Senator Roger Wicker, who chairs the committee, said agreeing to a five-minute delay after the chief executives of Twitter Inc and Alphabet Inc’s Google had spoken.

Facebook told the committee that Zuckerberg was alone. He was able to get connected in a couple of minutes.

“I was able to hear the other opening statements. I was just having a hard time connecting myself,” Zuckerberg said.

Wicker responded: “I know the feeling Mr. Zuckerberg.”

Amid growing protests and condemnations against anti-Islam rhetoric in France, Paris dissolved on Wednesday BarakaCity, one of the country's largest Muslim charities.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin confirmed the development on Twitter, sharing a detailed decree agreed during the Council of Ministers meeting.

He claimed that the NGO has links to “radical Islamist movements," and accused them of “legitimizing terrorist attacks." The organization denies the charges.

On Oct. 14, police raided the home of Idriss Sihamedi, the charity's founder, and arrested him. He was released the day after.

The raid was one of many that took place across France following President Emmanuel Macron’s announcement to fight "Islamist separatism" in the country, in a controversial speech, in which he described Islam "a religion in crisis all over the world."

Bitter Hillary slips up

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/hillary-clinton-pelosi-ready-to-unleash-liberal-tsunami-after-biden-win

Joe Biden’s election as president and the likelihood it would end GOP rule in the Senate will be followed by a wave of liberal programs drawn up by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, according to Biden surrogate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“Now, thankfully, Nancy Pelosi, bless her heart in every way we can, has teed up a lot of great legislation,” Clinton told SiriusXM’s Signal Boost this morning.

“I think we're going to have to move quickly. And one of the areas we'll have to move quickly on is the courts. We're gonna have to move quickly on everything, election reform, climate change, COVID relief, expanding healthcare, everything that we care about,” she said.

In blasting the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, she also raised guns as a key target in a Democratic Washington under Biden.

“So let's see what happens. But, you know, I've told the Obama campaign, I mean, the Obama — I've told the Biden campaign and the Biden transition, that they're going to have to move really fast because let's assume we take back the Senate,” said Clinton, who lost to President Trump in 2016.
