[2Th 2:5-7 NKJV] 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains [will do so] until He is taken out of the way.

When Vig quotes Scripture he should include the full verse and he should have a better understanding as well.

V 5. Paul was a born again believer. Believers make up the Church and they are indwell by the Holy Spirit.

That is why he says in V6 now you know what is restraining ( the body of born again believers who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit ) and the he who will be revealed in his own time is the antichrist.

V7 He who now restrains will continue to do so until He is taken out of the way (rapture).

Vig left that part out for some strange unknown reason and q should know better.

[Jhn 3:1-7 NKJV] 1 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him." 3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." 4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" 5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
