I think ancients saw the serpent shedding its skin, dying. But living on - the Pharoah era cultivated the snake worship for reincarnation idea. proto Hinduism. the idea that new bodies carry no "sin", the idea that children are innocent and worthy to be sacrificed since the innocent (zero karma) souls return to the Godhead. The most orthodox aka fundamentalist hindus, The Tantric Hindus, mostly Bangladesh region, were still into child sacrifice up to the late 20th Century…

But back to the Pharoah, the era of Moses and Aaron. Aaron's snake ate a number of the snakes magick'd by the Pharoah's en -chanters…

In the books we have copious warnings against the deception, the great lie, the great error of our kind (Idolatry), the idea that the soul is a whore (using many bodies) and adulterated - the soul is a unique creation of God, in His image, and having a spark of divinity as they say.

Do not worship creation, worship The Creator.
