Addendum:
The world says those who truly follow Christ are
weak and soft, when actually the opposite is true. Those who truly attempt to follow after Christ are tougher than those who dont. The world, and those who follow it, are the soft and weak ones.
Which is easier?
To stuff your face, or to do as Christ commands and reject gluttony?
To view porn, or do as Christ commands and reject all sexual immorality; which is easier?
Which is easier: to get revenge on someone who wronged you personally, or to forgive them and move on?
(That doesnt mean that person is absolved from receiving the physical ramifications of their actions)
And on and on it goes… easier to go along with the world's lie and follow the crowd, or to do as Christ commands and stand on His Truth no matter the cost, or the persecution, or the rejection?
No, it is the world that is weak for it cannot control it's strongest opponent: itself. The world, and those who follow after it, are cream puffs.
No Christian is perfect, or practices Christianity perfectly, but Christ gives those who follow Him the ability to exact control over the mightiest of enemies: our own earthly desires.
