There are theories that Pope Benedict is really still the pope. These theories are discussed by Taylor Marshall in videos related to Archbishop Vigano and Trump and the deep state in The Church.

The idea is that Vigano are Benedict and Vigano are fighting the deep state.and Benedict developed a plan to defeat the evil from within. Resigning was part of the plan. He has never stopped wearing his pope attire and sometimes does things that piss a lot of people off.
