As for legal justice, don't hold your breath. There is a better change that Sullivan sentences Flynn in the next week or four than there is of some tidbit, morsel, fall-guy token of justice.

Senate is doing this to fool the public. It's all political theater to persuade you that the institution is not rotten.

And why does POTUS run on legislative policy? Congress is a corrupt institution. It's been selling out the country for a hundred years, and they all get rich on it.

The Gandhi or John Galt model. At least in the Gandhi case, it worked. The other one is fictional, of course. I don't believe either model works in the US, or not today anyway. Power is not dispersed the same way.

Pretty much this. The good guys know the law of self defense, and generally avoid provoking physical action. Also tend to not be provokable. For every time I've seen a "good guy" start something, there are hundreds of liberals lashing out and causing real physical harm, death, mayhem, damage, theft, etc.
