Yes, the militia can be called into service. Of course. The claim was that NG is "under the Army" whatever the fuck that means. I suppose you can take your win, and I'll just hit the filter button.

Not necessarily who is paying, but who is controlling. Financially the companies are private enterprise, paid by advertisers. Content is regulated by the same forces that regulate the conduct of elected and appointed government officials. Money at the bottom of that too. The amount of money at the margins of ordinary geopolitics is mind boggling. Then there is the blind eye to drugs business, war, and other nastiness which has even greater profit margin.

The media will never be neutralized. It should never be trusted, that's the fix. Revolutionary war was fought with lying propaganda, and so it goes. The notion that press has some honest, honorable, duty or essential function to report accurately is a myth perpetrated by people who aim to regulate and control you. Bad people. Free press is the right to lie - and let the consumers sort it out.
