Depressingly accurate. Problem is even if you were born awake and observant of the non-sense, they beat it our of you real quick. My grandmother, whom I dearly love, once told me "Keep your head down and don't draw attention to yourself". Sort of good advice, but fucking sad none the less. It has also taken me a lifetime to understand this: "A man who speaks the truth will have no friends." No business partners, no girl friends, and a very very short list of "friends". Said list of friends ran for the hills right about 2015/2016. I have pondered if in fact I am already serving time in hell.
