They wouldn't be doing what they're doing if they weren't useful idiots. In their delusional minds, the ground level radicals believe themselves to be a completely organic movement uninfluenced by politics and leading the public discussion (the reality as we know is quite the opposite.) These delusions are exacerbated (purposefully) by the compromised public officials of these cities who get the police to stand down constantly. It gives the radicals unwarranted confidence that they could actually pull off a successful revolution, making them much more likely to actually participate then the shit truly does go down.
What theyhaven'tconsidered is potentially finding themselves in a nation that's officially declared war, themselves being labeled 'enemy combatants' and having to face down the most powerful military in the recorded history of human existence. When the National Guard deployed in Minneapolis earlier this year, the riots were over in 30 minutes. Imagine what will happen when the gloves are fully off.
