Reflecting on some anon last bread thoughts on the 3 way standoff between China, Russia, and the US. I see things a little differently. All three 'Tri-polar' powers have in fact been set up and prodded along the decades by [them]. Whether you want to say Roths, or 13 families, or P. But I think anon is mistaken that Russia is waiting to invade or go to war with the US at the drop of a hat. This does not square with the facts of the last 30 years, or with Putin's actions. At worst, Russia is an unpredictable dark horse. But they do not seem bent on world domination like China. Putin is not stupid, and he sees the China threat the same as we do. The idea that anyone's forces could be massing for invasion into continental US is frankly laughable. No force, including China, has the logistics to pull that off or the will to fight a protracted war on US soil against 50 million armed americans. These are doom porn scenarios. China taking Canada is a lot more likely scenario, except that we wouldn't allow it.

A Trump win would in fact put China in Beta dog status. China and particularly Xi will be seriously hurting, and I see a stronger US/Russia alliance emerging out of this. China will lose Taiwan, in exchange for preserving the rest of what they have. Their expansion will stop, and they just may emerge a more humble player. But I'm not holding my breath.

In essence, I see Russia and the US as more similar to each other. Maybe it is just the caucasoid genetic connection. Maybe it is more that Trump and Putin both know how their countries were played by the Deep State. Russia has had longer to ruminate on it.

If you were going to sit down to a round of drinks with a group of chinese or a group of russians, I know who I would choose. It is a Russia / US alliance that will really keep the peace in this world.
