it's a harmless ritual that might even be useful IMO … or you're doing it wrong

 

Halloween does not necessarily celebrate evil - mock the darkness and render it harmless

It's typical for a con to let you win at first. That reels you in. Then you put up the real cash and surprise! and the con says (if he's even around) wut? you thought you'd always win?
