There has been meaning of the PALM TREE expressed here since very early on at CBTS.
It represents eternal rule and reign upheld by the people. (pic related)
It's no wonder we would find it used to represent a story teller, as it has it's own story to tell too.
The palm tree appears via the name "Tamar" (meaning "palm tree") in a portion of the same work called "Parable of Judah," p61 - which describes how the ancients foresaw the "eternal reign" and "eternal life" being kept from the common man for all of historical time, until the present - and the plight of world leadership in first secluding but then rediscovering it, as has happened today.
