A lowly Lawfag here. This is what I think will happen in the next month.
Nov 3: Trump landslide. Left will not accept.
Nov 4: Left action in the streets. Riots. ShutDownDC.org for their plans.Think Portland and Mpls in 100 or more large cities. 50,000+ Leftists bring Washington to a halt. National Guard and LEO forces surround the beltway and contain them. Roadblocks. But most are already in the beltway.
Nov 4-9: Thousands of election lawsuits filed at state and local level by Left lawyers, overwhelming the courts.
Nov 9-13: Emergency requests to SCOTUS to settle suits. SCOTUS takes up but does not remand, instead deciding in Trump's favor declaring him President of the United States.
Nov. 14-20: Major rioting. Nov. 16 the Internet kill switch is hit, phone systems go down and POTUS sends an EBS "Proclamation to Disperse," which is required by law before invoking the Insurrection Act.
Nov 23: Military action against insurrection. Suspension of writ of habeus corpus. Temporary shutdown of press. Round-up and containment of insurrectionists.
I would think that by Thanksgiving, all major actions would be completed and by Christmas, we'd have some semblance of sanity return to our country.
Things could change and I could be wrong, but that's my view at the moment.
The Left has been war-gaming this for months with their Transition Integrity Project and I think they know this is the outcome if they cannot storm the White House in that Nov 4-9 period. If they stormed the White House, it would be like Russia on 7 November 1917. And we all know what happened then. If that happens, all bets are off. But I don't think the Q team has any intention of letting it get that far.
