I watched Invasion of the Body Snatchers and They Live today, and both movies gave me the creeps because they so eerily resemble the society we live in today. In the Body Snatchers, it's said that the director (Philip Kaufman) was eluding to the spread of communism, and the brainwashing that would go with it in order to spread. That was in 1978. Now, it looks like half the country is completely gone or different. I know a lib the second I see and talk to them. Granted, there's some that lean more towards the middle, but the hardcore ones are just gone. They're miserable, vacant, and major hypocrites. Their hypocrisy is what really gives them away, and usually it'll show very early in a conversation.

So, with all that said. I wonder just how much deliberate brainwashing has been going on in this country over the past 20+ years, be it through TV, movies, electronics, or the internet. I'm convinced they know of ways to affect people beyond just subtle suggestion and overt propaganda. Or is it more than just brainwashing? Are they actually affecting people's DNA? Probably not, but Q did say that it's bigger than we could imagine.
