I live in a tyrannt state. Our governor has banned hybrid learning, must all be online now. She has banned all High School sports. She has banned all College sports.

I could never understand why so strict when states worse hit then us were so much more open. If you close the schools long enough, you will lose at least 1/2 the students. They'll be so far behind if school opens again they'll have to redo those lost classes. If you drop athletics, you lose another portion of students that were only keeping afloat because of sports.

Same for college. You get rid of sports and the college dies and all those athletes no longer get a free degree.

I fear the damage is already done to a group of kids that have no control over any of it.

The end game is to make education only for the rich, that can afford private school or tutors. It's easier to manage a stupid population.
