Historically, there was an Operation Blue Moon that concerned a fly-over of Cuba to document potential missile sites.
Last year, though, Operation Blue Moon entailed getting our National Guard ready for deployment. It almost seems like they knew their deployment date, doesn't it, with that name?

Blue Moon . . . sounds like a song lyric but it’s really the codename for a classified operation that put critical information into US President Kennedy’s hands during what the Cubans call the “October Crisis” in 1962.
