Ok, so this is my way out there speculation.
Using some kind of advanced tech (Sentient World Simulation, Looking Glass, Palantir, Quantum computing, Cern, whatever) the powers-that-be have war-gamed every scenario using AI and have hit an immovable wall. No amount of alteration of parameters and/or input can change the outcome. Nothing can stop what is coming. It's set in stone.

Even if it is about the vote, it's also about re-engaging the population and causing them, through the Socratic method, to research and think for themselves instead of allowing themselves to be brainwashed by MSM propaganda. So nothing wrong with that.
