>"Christ" is a title. It should be Christ Jesus, who said (paraphrased) you can do all I have done and more. He showed you the way, but the churches have distorted his teachings. Such as…

Not ture.
Here is reality written in the first few verses of Genesis.
The Trinity introduced in Genesis 1:3-4
1) "God (perfect existence – I AM THAT I AM/The Father)
2) said, let there be light and there was light (perfect expression – The WORD/Son).
3) God saw the light that it was good" (perfect appreciation – SPIRIT OF TRUTH).
(Where “appreciation” is defined as: full understanding, recognition and enjoyment)
1a) Perfect existence = I AM/The Father
"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM:" Exo 3:14
2a) Perfect expression of perfect existence = THE WORD/The Son/The Word Incarnate/Jesus
“who, being…the exact expression of His substance, and upholding all things by the power of His word,… sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,” Heb 1:3
3a) Perfect appreciation of 1) perfect existence and 2) perfect expression of perfect existence = THE SPIRIT of Truth
"For who knows a person's thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." 1 Cor 2:11
The Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Truth) is, therefore, God’s perfect appreciation of Himself (I AM) and His perfect expression of Himself (The Word/Son/Jesus).
The three - perfect existence, perfect expression of existence, and perfect appreciation of perfect existence and perfect expression - equate to the three persons of the Trinity - the three in one and one in three.
Through the gift of faith, believers are enabled to receive/share in God’s perfect appreciation (the Spirit of truth) of Himself (I AM) and His perfect Expression of Himself (the Word/Jesus).
"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit." 1 Cor 12:13
