Dates aren't perfect since days with no resignations are just missing. Pretty close though, approx squashed by 15 days from Sep. 1. Not too many days without resignations after Dec.

Yes, I was thinking to filter it a bit before drawing the curve (median and mean filters). That will show the overall trend better. It looks to be rising again sharply at the end.
