There is influence here. There are many who read but do not speak. Why would they? They are not here to tell us we are right or wrong but just to see what we are up to, what we've sometimes found. We bypass the echo chamber of various media systems.

And then there was the power of memes - which is still generally the domain of halfchan - but there is information flow back and forth between us and them as well.

It isn't about being popular. It is about human intelligence networks. It only takes one person passing the relevant information to a "node" who has distribution power.

That's the most pedantic and delusional argument I have seen on the issue.

For starters, anyone who says "only real patriots (do as I want)" probably isn't much of a patriot in our nation. Maybe if you're part of some totalitarian royal family somewhere that meets the technical definition of patriotism - but those are generally considered obsolete, backward structures for a reason.

Second, the very notion of adopting a historic event as your own symbol for group/action is kind of arrogant and attempts to associate the actions of the group with the historic/iconic actions of historical figures. So colorizing it to be reflective of the group is par for the course.

And this is far from the only group/movement to have ever done so - and history will judge it as appropriare or deceptive. In the present it is just what groups do.

And if we could perform a seance to ask the people raising the flag and in the war what they thought about today and us using the picture - I highly doubt there would be much outrage among them - though that is just like my opinion man.

For this very reason, I do not yet have a wife and children.

I have been well aware of what was coming and that being a parent makes one unable to act logically and decisively to end the problem. They always opt to kick the can to their children and hope they will have the opportunity to peacefully resolve a conflict.

I'm more like good ol' Vlad the Impaler. You'd make a fine ornament to ward off advancing muslim armies with.

And you were instructed to be clever as serpents, were you not?

It is amazing to me how monochrome the world you shills try to live in is.

The Dragon is the source of all life. The Vine.

Older depictions held two dragons - apsu and tiamat for example. Order and chaos. Apsu, the dragon of the sweet (river) waters chose what of Tiamat's creations to nurture and support.

Within taoism, this is the infinite nothing and the action of the great yang. Within the taiyin is everything that isn't and it is yang which brings it into being.
