Grid patterns were seen in Turkey and Canary Islands back in 2011, there are YouTube videos.

Grids can also be seen in other hotspots by excluding smaller 1's & 2's. Alaska's Big Lake quake 2 years ago, is a good example. Searles valley in Ca. is another.
