Take one flexible 12 inch ruler.

Wrap the ruler around the Clock.

Numbers, halves and quarter markings line up.

Clock & Degrees

Take one 24 hour clock.

Mark midnight as 0.

Starting from 0 mark the number of degrees around the clock face counter-clockwise.

314 degrees lands on 3:14am.
