Can someone explain to me why the fuck everyone puts so much emphasis on RCP averages? Not just MSM, but regular everyday people put faith in these supposed unbiased averages?

  1. Most polls skew in Dem favor, some wildly so.

  2. No polls ever skew wildly in Rep favor.

  3. Polling methodologies are proven shit anyway.

So, you have an "average" where the collective bias is all in a single direction and historically always wrong. And the "average" includes some data points that are wildly off, and never data points wildly off in the opposite direction to couterbalance the outliers. And no data points have ever proven consistently reliable. Then you throw them all together into an "average" and claim that they MUST BE ACCURATE just because.

Classic garbage in garbage out scenario. Are people really this bad with math and basic logic?

Another way to look at it this.

Let's say you put 10 marbles in a clear jar. Then you ask 4 paid shills and 2 retards how many marbles are in the jar, and you "wink wink nod nod" that you really hope they all say at least 11 marbles. The 4 paid shills will guess either 11 marbles or 12 marbles. One retard says 20 marbles. The other retard grins and says "Sponge Bob". You throw out the Sponge Bob response because you are being all objectivy and honest ya know. The 5 remaining guesses "average" out to be 13.2. So it MUST be right, because it's an average.
