Scheduled power outages from Nov. 2 to 12 in Richmond

Richmond residents in multiple areas will experience power outages as BC Hydro has scheduled repair and replacement work from Nov. 2 to 12.

 

BC Hydro plans regular power outages to perform work on equipment or power lines that require them to be de-energized, according to the its website.

 

“By planning the outage and doing the necessary work, our crews can prevent a potential unplanned emergency outage in the future, where a part of the system unexpectedly fails or malfunctions,” said BC Hydro on its site.

 

Here is the list of power outages scheduled.

Nov. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 35 customers at:

 

11602 to 11678 Kingswaybridge Dr.

 

Nov. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

A transformer replacement will affect 15 customers at:

 

5620 to 5677 Sandiford Pl.

 

Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

A planned pole replacement will affect one customer at:

 

21000 River Road

 

Nov. 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

 

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 183 customers at:

 

10155, 10177 and 10197 River Dr.

 

Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 50 customers at:

 

6679, 6680, 6691, 6699, 6711, 6719, 6720, 6731, 6739, 6740, 6751, 6759 and 6760 Azure Rd.
