Mark Zuckerberg: ‘There Is a Risk of Civil Unrest Across the Country’
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told analysts on a recent conference call with analysts that he believes there could be “civil unrest” across the country following the presidential election.
ZDNet reports that during a conference call with analysts, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the social media giant plants to post notices at the top of users’ news feeds on November 3 discrediting claims by either U.S. presidential candidate that they have won the election if the site deems the announcement premature.
Zuckerberg stated: “If any candidate or campaign tries to declare victory before the final results are called, we will put a notification to the top of People’s Facebook and Instagram feed letting them know the results aren’t final yet and we’ll put an informational label on the candidate’s post.”
Zuckerberg added that Facebook was taking the initiative as “There is a risk of civil unrest across the country, and given this, companies like ours need to go well beyond what we’ve done before.”
Discussing Facebook’s various efforts around the election, Zuckerberg stated that the site “helped 4.4 million people register [to vote] exceeding the goal that we set for ourselves this summer.”
Facebook has also paused all new political ads on its site for this week, Zuckerberg commented on this stating: “We’re doing this because while I generally believe that the best antidote to bad speech is more speech, in the final days of an election, there may simply not be enough time to contest new claims.”
Breitbart News recently reported that Facebook revealed in a blog post that a number of political ads were “improperly” restricted due to a technical error as the company attempted to prevent new political ads from being posted ahead of the November 3 election. Facebook stated that “technical flaws” caused a number of ads to be “paused improperly.”
Facebook stated that it has “implemented changes to fix these issues” and most of the advertisements were now running without any issues. Facebook stopped accepting new ads related to political issues on Tuesday and stated that it would allow pre-existing ads to run during that period but would block any adjustments to the ads’ content or design.

Anthony Fauci's family says they can no longer stand behind flip-flopping family member
The family of Dr. Anthony Fauci say they're done with his inconsistent messages regarding COVID-19 and its imminent impact on the country, as well as his suggestions for potential further lockdowns.
What are the details?
Fauci's cousin, who is also named Anthony and is a restaurant owner in New York, said that his family member's talk and suggestions of coronavirus lockdowns is backfiring on the country.
The restaurateur, who owns La Fontana restaurant in Staten Island, New York, says that lockdowns simply don't work.
"They shouldn't do the lockdowns," the restaurant owner said. "Especially now. If you don't abide by the rules … shut that area down, but don't shut down the whole industry."
His son, Joe, agrees.
"In the beginning, I thought [Dr. Fauci] was fabulous, but then a few times he flip-flopped on different things," Joe explains. "He had us all locked down at a tremendous rate. They should have loosened things up when it was slowing down in the summer. Everything else was loosening up except the restaurant business."
Dr. Fauci, who is director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has been a large proponent of nationwide lockdown measures and has even recently advocated for families to cancel Thanksgiving plans for those who do not live in the same households.
“You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering, unless you're pretty certain that the people that you're dealing with are not infected," Fauci said in October. "That is unfortunately a risk, when you have people coming from out of town, gathering together in an indoor setting. It is unfortunate, because that's such a sacred part of American tradition — the family gathering around Thanksgiving. But that is a risk."

Mexico Reprimands Cartel-Linked Governor After Pushing Votes for Biden
A Mexican governor doubled down on his push for immigrants from his state to vote for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden only hours after his federal government scolded him for interfering in another country’s election.
Michoacán Governor Silvano Aureoles Conejo posted a video on Twitter where he called on “paisanos and paisanas” to vote for Biden, claiming President Donald Trump hates migrants. In early 2018, Nicolas “El Gordo” Sierra, the leader of Los Viagras Cartel, claimed Aureoles paid large sums of money to cartels to generate votes.
Mexico’s Secretary of the Interior Olga Sanchez Cordero scolded Aureoles through a hand-delivered letter with copies sent to the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Mexico’s Attorney General, and other officials. Cordero told Aureoles Conejo that Mexican law prohibited international election interference. Relations are to be maintained at federal levels, the letter explained. Mexico’s federal government posted the letter online.
Hours after the public scolding, the governor took to social media again to share a tweet by Biden, where he called on paisanos and paisanas to “vote for love and unity and not hate and division.”
Mexico’s federal government has not responded to questions from Breitbart Texas about Aureoles Conejo and whether he will face any further consequences.

New CDC Numbers Show Lockdown’s Deadly Toll On Young People
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealed Wednesday that young adults aged 25-44 years saw the largest increase in “excess” deaths from previous years, a stunning 26.5% jump.
The notable increase even surpassed the jump in excess deaths of older Americans, who are at much higher risk of COVID-19 fatality.
Moreover, according to the CDC, 100,947 excess deaths were not linked to COVID-19 at all.
Since such young people are at very low risk for COVID-19 fatality — 20-49-year-olds have a 99.98% chance of surviving the virus, per CDC data — it has been suggested that the shocking increase in deaths is largely attributable to deaths of “despair,” or deaths linked to our “cure” for the disease: lockdown measures.
Former Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Scott Gottlieb, one of the most vocal and earliest proponents of lockdown measures, admitted this much during a Wednesday news appearance.
“I would suspect that a good portion of the deaths in that younger cohort were deaths due to despair, due to other reasons,” admitted Gottlieb (see video below).
“We’ve seen a spike in overdoses, and I would suspect that a good portion of those excess deaths in that younger cohort were from drug overdoses and other deaths that were triggered by some of the implications of we’ve gone through to try to deal with COVID-19.”
Critics roundly mocked President Donald Trump early in the pandemic for warning about excess deaths of despair under lockdown.
Public health experts and others are now increasingly calling for an end to heavy-handed measures, citing a growing body of evidence that such policies are having drastic negative impacts on Americans’ physical and mental health.
Possibly the starkest impact has been the worsening of another U.S. health crisis: the opioid epidemic. Deaths from opioids were already rising as initial estimates from the CDC show 2019 to be the worst year on record with roughly 71,000 deaths.

Woke Archbishop Calls on the UK Government to Take in MORE Refugees
The Archbishop of York, alongside other religious leaders in the United Kingdom, has called for the government to reinstate refugee resettlement programmes that were halted during the Chinese coronavirus crisis.
The second-highest-ranking member of the Church of England, the Most Revd Stephen Cottrell wrote alongside other faith leaders that Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government should resume the refugee schemes “immediately”.
“Since the First World War, the United Kingdom’s refugee resettlement schemes have proved a vital lifeline to tens of thousands of people who have come to the UK escaping some of the world’s most brutal conflicts and regimes,” Archbishop Cottrell and others wrote in a letter seen by The Telegraph.
“We are calling on the Prime Minister and the Home Office to restart these safe and legal resettlement routes immediately,” the letter added.
The two programmes the faith leaders are referencing are the Community Sponsorship scheme and the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme, which saw approximately 20,000 Syrians relocated throughout the UK. Both programmes were launched by former Prime Minister David Cameron during the height of the European Migrant Crisis.
The two refugee programmes were temporarily paused during the China virus pandemic.

The director of UK Welcomes Refugees, Bekele Woyecha organised the letter, which was co-signed by Harun Khan, the head of the Muslim Council of Britain, the director of Liberal Judaism Rabbi Charley Baginsky, and Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster Paul McAleenan.
They argued that Britain should “shoulder this responsibility and continue the UK’s proud tradition of offering sanctuary and a safe home to some of the most vulnerable people in the world”.
“The UK is a country respected globally for offering sanctuary to those who need it, and we cannot step back,” he said.
The faith leaders claimed that there are 60 churches throughout the country that are waiting for the programme to be reinstated in order to house a family from Syria, having spent thousands of pounds Sterling in preparation for hosting the refugees.

The Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell was installed in his position in the Church of England in July of this year, and has been described as a “liberal moderniser”.
Since becoming the second highest ranking member of the CoE, Cottrell has been outspokenly progressive, claiming in July that the church is “overly-dominated” by privileged white men. Ironically, Cottrell replaced a black traditionalist Bishop in his York seat.
“The leadership of the Church of England is still too white, and I hope under my watch we’ll see further changes on that,” he said.
In line with the letter sent this week, he previously stated that it is his belief “that God is calling us to be a Church of glorious and profligate diversity”.
In a stunning example of his woke beliefs he claimed that Jesus would have joined the Black Lives Matter protests, saying that “Jesus was a black man,” adding: “and he was born into a persecuted group in an occupied country.”

Twitter suspends dozens of Palestinian accounts opposing normalization with Israel
Twitter has suspended, on Israel’s request, dozens of Palestinian accounts that have been active in posting tweets against the much-condemned normalization deals between the Tel Aviv regime and some Arab countries.
During the past few days, Twitter blocked dozens of accounts belonging to Palestinian figures and social media activists, said Sada Social Center, which monitors social media violations of the Palestinian content, in an interview with Turkey's official Anadolu news agency on Sunday.
The NGO said that the suspended Twitter accounts included tweets that expressed opinions against the so-called normalization of relations by Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Sudan with Israel, and also contained tweets about Israel’s annexation plans in the occupied West Bank.
It added that the group had sent a letter that were signed by different civil society institutions to Twitter administration to protest such measure, urging it to reverse the controversial decision.
Separately, the Forum of Palestinian Journalists (FPJ) lambasted the Twitter’s move, saying that it was taken at the behest of Israel and in response to Israeli pressure, the Palestinian Information Center reported.
Recently, Israel asked Twitter to suspend 128 accounts of Palestinian activists and figures after they had highlighted issues against Israel’s annexation plans and its normalization deals with Arab states, the FPJ added.
The forum further called on Twitter to overturn its decision in blocking Palestinian accounts and to respect users’ rights to freedom of opinion and expression.
The US-brokered normalization deals between Israel and the three Arab nations have sparked waves of massive protests across the Palestinian territories and many other countries.

Texas Supreme Court denies Republican effort to reject 127,000 ballots cast at drive-thru voting stations in Houston
The Texas Supreme Court has denied a Republican-led petition to reject nearly 127,000 ballots cast at drive-thru voting stations in the Houston area.
The state's all-Republican high court rejected the request from GOP activists and candidates on Sunday without explaining its decision.
The effort to have the Harris County ballots thrown out is still set to be taken up during an emergency hearing in federal court on Monday.
'We're pleased that the Texas Supreme Court recognized that their arguments that drive-thru voting is illegal are flat-out wrong,' said Susan Hays, an attorney for the Harris County Clerk's Office. 'Lawsuits that are filed in the middle of an election to disrupt the election should be promptly denied.'
Conservative Texas activists have railed against expanded voting access in Harris County, where a record 1.4 million early votes have already been cast.
The county is the nation's third largest and a crucial battleground in Texas, where President Donald Trump and Republicans are bracing for the closest election in decades on Tuesday.
Texans have already cast more ballots in the presidential election than they did during all of 2016 with nearly 10 million as of Sunday, an unprecedented surge of early voting in a state that was once the country's most reliably Republican, but is now considered a toss-up.
US District Judge Andrew Hanen is expected to rule on the same Harris County issue on Monday.
Hanen's decision to hear arguments on the brink of Election Day drew attention from voting rights activists. The Texas Supreme Court also rejected a nearly identical challenge last month.
Jared Woodfill, an attorney for the Republicans who brought the state and federal cases, said Sunday that his focus is on the hearing before Hanen.
'We're hopeful that he'll stop this illegal form of voting from continuing to occur,' Woodfill said.
Conservative GOP activists have filed a battery of court challenges over moves to expand voting options during the COVID-19 pandemic. The challenges have not involved President Trump's campaign.
Trump won Texas by nine points in 2016 but polls have shown Democrat Joe Biden still within reach in America's biggest red state.
Democrats also need to flip only nine seats to reclaim a majority in the Texas House for the first time in 20 years, and have aggressively targeted several races in Harris County.
Harris County has offered 10 drive-thru locations where its nearly five million residents can cast ballots in their cars instead of going inside polling centers. The accommodation aims to prevent transmission of the coronavirus.

Lobby trying to reshape California education to shield Israel
Israel lobby groups are once again attempting to manipulate public education in California in order to censor Palestinian and Arab scholarship, under the guise of fighting anti-Semitism.
The battle is being waged around the state’s ethnic studies curricula.
“We can’t underestimate our opposition and the coalescing of right-wing organizations coming together against ethnic studies,” Lara Kiswani of the Arab Resource and Organizing Center told The Electronic Intifada.
Hers is one of many groups organizing to fight back.
Pro-Israel groups are agitated over the state’s decision to reinstate Arab American Studies in the proposed ethnic studies model curriculum, after they pressured the California Department of Education to remove it altogether.
The curriculum must be approved by the State Board of Education next year.
Since the planning stages of the model curriculum, dozens of Israel lobby groups have tried either to change its parameters to shield Israel from criticism or kill it entirely.
In September, 80 pro-Israel Jewish groups called on Governor Gavin Newsom to veto a bill mandating ethnic studies for public high school students beginning in 2025.
Newsom did veto the bill – a decision that had been unexpected.
Bill AB331 had already been watered down to include so-called “guardrails” that conflate anti-Jewish bigotry with criticism of Israel.

Pennsylvania Attorney General States Outcome of Election is Predetermined, Calls Election For Joe Biden Before Election Day
The Democrats know President Trump is doing well in the battleground state of Pennsylvania which is why they are fighting to count ballots for up to three days after Election Day.
Pennsylvania Republicans took the fight all the way up to the Supreme Court and last week the highest court of the land said that it will not fast track Republicans’ challenge to Pennsylvania’s extended deadline for absentee ballots.
The justices did leave open the possibility that they would ultimately rule in favor of Pennsylvania Republicans.
Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who was just sworn in, did not participate in last week’s decision “because she has not had time to fully review the parties’ filings.”
Pennsylvania officials voluntarily complied and will segregate ballots received after election day as Republicans continue to fight in court.
A few days after the Supreme Court decision, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro claimed his state’s outcome is predetermined and called the race for Joe Biden.
“If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose. That’s why he’s working overtime to subtract as many votes as possible from this process,” Shapiro said.
“For the record, he’s 0-6 against us in court. We’ve protected voting rights. Now, ignore the noise—vote!” he added. President Trump is dominating The Keystone State and drew a crowd of 58,000 people at his Butler, PA rally.

Aliyev: Will restore control of region by any means
The Azerbaijani Armed Forces isn’t a huge military, but does spend about 5% of its country’s GDP annually. This could rapidly become a lot more as the war in Nagorno-Karabakh escalates, and President Aliyev is vowing to “fight to the end.”
Aliyev says he will commit all means available to recover Azeri control over Nagorno-Karabakh, and will continue to contest the region to the end. After several failed ceasefire efforts, and threats by Turkey and Russia to get involved, this could easily become out of hand as a regional conflict.
Nagorno-Karabakh is recognized as part of Azerbaijan, but is under ethnic Armenian control. The two nations are in a constant state of unrest over this, which erupts into occasional skirmishes. This latest flare up is one of the biggest in decades.
Within Nagorno-Karabakh, the Azeri forces have claimed some territorial gains, which has some believing they can resolve this situation once and for all. At the same time, Armenia has shelled Azerbaijan’s cities, and has been courting Russian support in the conflict.

Knesset vote on higher fines for virus violations stalled amid Haredi opposition
Ministers approve measure, but meeting to prepare bill put off; Netanyahu to seek compromise in meeting with United Torah Judaism chiefs
Ministers on Monday approved higher fines for violations of coronavirus lockdown restrictions, targeting businesses, public events, and education institutions — but a bill on the measure was stalled due to resistance from ultra-Orthodox lawmakers, who oppose the hike in fines for schools.
After it was approved by the so-called coronavirus cabinet, the bill to increase the fines was scheduled to go the Ministerial Committee for Legislation and from there to the Knesset plenum for approval later in the day. However, the committee meeting was put off until Tuesday, apparently amid pressure from the ultra-Orthodox parties,
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was reportedly set to meet with leaders of the ultra-Orthodox United Torah Judaism party to discuss the matter. UTJ, a member of the government coalition, has already said it would oppose the bill, while the Shas party, also ultra-Orthodox, will reportedly consult with its spiritual leadership before deciding how to vote.
The Haredi parties say the regulations single out their community since the majority of institutions found to be violating the rules so far have been ultra-Orthodox.
After over a month of national lockdown that succeeded in curbing high infection rates but also paralyzed much of the economy and public life, the government has struggled to agree on how to ease the restrictions, with pressure from some ministers to quickly lift the closure facing opposition from other cabinet members — among them the prime minister — who want to move more cautiously.

Former University of Michigan professor indicted on charges of child exploitation of a minor
DETROIT – A former University of Michigan professor is facing charges of child exploitation of a minor following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Today, ICE HSI Special Agent in Charge Vance Callendar joined United States Attorney Matthew Schneider in announcing the unsealing of an indictment charging the Ann Arbor, Michigan man with two counts of transporting a minor girl across state lines with the intent to engage in sexual conduct.
Charged was Stephen Shipps, 67, of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Shipps was arrested this morning and will be appearing in federal court for his arraignment via Zoom at 1pm today.
From 1989 to 2019, Shipps was employed by the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance as a violin professor. Shipps was also the director of the Strings Preparatory Program, which offered instruction to young musicians ranging from elementary school through high school-age. Shipps retired from the University of Michigan in February 2019. In addition, Shipps served on the faculties of Indiana University, the North Carolina School of the Arts, the University of Nebraska – Omaha, and the Banff Centre in Canada. He also taught students at summer music programs in the Czech Republic, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
The indictment alleges that in February and March of 2002, as well as in June and July of 2002, Shipps knowingly transported a young girl, who was under 18 years old, across state lines, and Shipps intended to engage in sexual activity with her.
“I’m very proud of the work that ICE HSI did to bring this person to justice who appears to have preyed on multiple victims by exploiting his position as their professor. He breached their trust. These are the types of cases that ICE gets involved with to protect the public and children in our communities,” said ICE Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director Tony H. Pham.
“Thanks to the bravery of Shipps’ alleged victims and painstaking investigative work by HSI, this disgraced professor is being held accountable for coercing vulnerable young women into sex, in some cases in the distant past,” said Vance Callender, HSI special agent in charge of Michigan and Ohio. “This case underscores our commitment to pursue sexual predators and bring some measure of justice to the victims.”
“We are committed to the safety and well-being of the most vulnerable members of our society – our children,” stated United States Attorney Matthew Schneider. “For over 20 years, Stephen Shipps had close interactions with many young girls who were gifted musicians. Shipps met with these young girls both inside and outside of the State of Michigan. Our determination and commitment to seeking justice for victims has no time limit.”
If convicted of both counts, Shipps faces a statutory maximum penalty of 15 years in federal prison.
An indictment is merely a charge and is not evidence of guilt. The defendant in this case is presumed innocent. The burden is on the government to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
This case is being investigated by agents of HSI with the assistance of the University of Michigan Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Sara Woodward is prosecuting this case.

Former county constable and city firefighter sentenced for child exploitation
LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Kentucky man was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky to serve 420 months in prison for producing child pornography.
The investigation was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General, and the Cynthiana Police Department.
William Michael Fields, Jr., 37, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, was convicted after a two-day trial in June 2020. According to trial testimony and documents on file with the court, Fields, then 36, exercised his positions as a Harrison County Constable and Paris Fire Department firefighter to form a relationship with a 17-year-old victim, who was interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement or emergency medicine. The victim became acquainted with Fields in early 2019 while visiting a fire station in Harrison County, and began communicating with the victim through the social media platform Snapchat.
“HSI Nashville works with our local, state and federal law enforcement partners to investigate and seek prosecution of predators who exploit children through the production and distribution of child pornography,” said HSI Nashville Special Agent in Charge Jerry C. Templet, Jr. “As the victims of these crimes often suffer long-term effects, it is imperative that we do our part to ensure that the perpetrators are punished for their heinous actions. We are especially pleased with the lengthy sentence for this offender who used his positions of authority to entice a vulnerable victim.”
In March 2019, Fields sent the victim a text message asking her to meet him. He met with the victim that night, provided her with alcohol, and had sexual intercourse with the victim in the back of an ambulance. Fields used the victim’s cellphone to video record the encounter, and then sent the video to himself. A thumbnail image from the video was later found on Fields’ cellphone.
Evidence at trial also revealed that Fields had sexual intercourse with the underage victim again at the Emergency Medical Training Facility in Bourbon County in March 2019 and used the victim’s cellphone to record the encounter.
Law enforcement performed a forensic examination of Fields’ cellphone and discovered screen shots from the videos of Fields’ sexual encounters with the victim.
Under federal law, Fields must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence and will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for 20 years.
“This conduct is simply inexcusable – the defendant abused his positions of trust and authority, as a firefighter and constable, and used them to sexually exploit a minor victim,” said Robert M. Duncan, Jr., United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Kentucky. “He further victimized her by knowingly using her to create images of child pornography. This despicable conduct warrants significant punishment, both to hold him accountable and to deter others from engaging in similar conduct.”

Armenian PM to Post: Israel joins forces with the devil
Pashinyan said that it was only a matter of time before Turkey’s “imperialistic ambition” will be aimed toward Israel.
Israel has lined up with Turkey, terrorists and Syrian mercenaries in backing Azerbaijan in the current conflict with Armenia, and will eventually suffer the consequence of that unholy alliance, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told The Jerusalem Post in an exclusive interview on Monday.
Pashinyan, speaking from Yerevan through an interpreter via Zoom, blasted Jerusalem for arming Azerbaijan, which he said is intent on “carrying out genocide against Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh.”
Azerbaijan and Armenia are in the sixth week of fighting over the disputed region, with estimates of the fatalities on both sides ranging from 1,500 to 5,000.
While Israel has not commented formally on the fighting and the Foreign Ministry is trying to keep Israel out of the conflict, Pashinyan said that Israel is now very actively engaged in the conflict, “because Israeli UAVs are actively used in the war against Nagorno-Karabakh.”
Armenia recalled its ambassador to Israel for consultations in early October just two weeks after it opened an embassy in Tel Aviv to protest arms sales to its enemy
“I think that Israel should think about the following,” the prime minister said. “Mercenaries, Islamic terrorists and Israel are now on the same side basically, so Israel should think, is this really a convenient position for it to be?”
Israel should also ponder, he made clear, whether it really wants to be on the same side in the conflict as Turkey, which he claims has moved thousands of Syrian mercenaries into Azerbaijan to fight against Nagorno- Karabakh.
