As a Cub Scout and Boy Scout in the 1950's and '60's we had paper drives and light bulb sales, both of which were door to door affairs. The number of housewives who would answer the door stark naked, half naked or in negligee was amazing.
We would share stories when the Scoutmaster's weren't around. I recall some of the boys were invited in but I don't remember anyone ever admitting to it.
