Delaware GOP Candidate Lauren Witzke Confronts Sen. Chris Coons With Copy of Hunter Biden’s ‘Laptop From Hell’

Republican senate candidate Lauren Witzke confronted Sen. Chris Coons with a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell on Monday.

Witzke has previously called on Coons to denounce Joe Biden after the Gateway Pundit’s report showing that the former Vice President, as well as his brother Jim Biden, wanted to cover for Hunter Biden, after he was accused of being sexually inappropriate with a underage relative.

On Monday, Witzke confronted Coons, while clutching a copy of the laptop, and asked if he will denounce Joe Biden and his corruption.

“Senator Coons, I brought you a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop — will you take it?” Witzke asked him. “Will you denounce Joe Biden and his corruption?”

A guard for the senator quickly began to block his GOP challenger and at one point appeared to assault her. However, Witzke continued her barrage of questions, repeatedly asking if he is also sold out to China and why he won’t debate her.

“You’re a coward, you always run! Why won’t you face me?” Witzke asked. She told the crowd that was gathered that Sen. Coons has outsourced Delaware jobs to China.

Speaking to the Gateway Pundit about her effort to hand over the laptop, Witzke demanded that Coons fire the staffer that assaulted her.

“As usual, Senator Coons ran away with his tail between his legs from honest questions about his support of corrupt Joe Biden, who we know sold us out to the Communist Chinese. I’m also demanding he immediately fire his staffer who assaulted me on video, though I won’t hold my breath given that he’s excused the serial abuse unleashed upon women by the Biden family,” Witzke said.

The GOP candidate previously demanded that Coons drop his endorsement of Biden’s campaign.

“I am calling on Senator Coons to immediately denounce Joe Biden, and drop his endorsement of the Biden campaign,” Witzke previously told TGP. “Senator Coons has also been endorsed by Joe Biden. I am calling on him to distance himself from that endorsement, too.”

Salt Life co-founder charged after teen found shot at Florida hotel

A co-founder of a popular Florida clothing brand has been charged with manslaughter and gun possession in the death of an 18-year-old woman found shot at a South Florida hotel, police said.

Michael Troy Hutto, 54, who co-founded Salt Life apparel in Jacksonville Beach with three friends in 2003, was arrested Friday at a hospital in Jacksonville while wearing hospital scrubs and skid-proof socks, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Hutto was taken into custody at the hospital after being treated for an unknown emergency, Riviera Beach police told the Palm Beach Post.

Officers responded to the facility following a welfare check on Lora Grace Duncan at the Hilton Oceanfront resort on Singer Island near Palm Beach, where the 18-year-old was found dead Thursday from a gunshot wound, police said.

It’s unclear what relationship, if any, Hutto had with Duncan at the time of her death, police told the Florida Times-Union.

Investigators had been looking for the woman since Oct. 26 when her parents asked the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office to conduct for a welfare check. She had previously left the county voluntarily, the newspaper reported.

Hutto’s most recent address is in Wellborn, according to the Times-Union. In 2003, he coined the phrase “Salt Life” that would go on to become the namesake of the beach and aquatic lifestyle brand he co-founded and served as president, the newspaper reported.

Hutto and his friends billed themselves as “hardcore fishermen” who were “living the salt life” on open waters, ultimately building the local outfit to a popular brand in ensuing years, the Times-Union reported. Hutto had not been involved in the clothing line since 2013, company officials said in a statement.

“Sadly we have learned one of Salt Life’s co-founders has been charged with a felony,” the statement read. “Salt Life sends their utmost sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased.”

Hutto and his partners sold the business for nearly $40 million, according to the Associated Press.

Hutto’s family could not be reached Saturday for comment, the Palm Beach Post reported. He remained held without bail Monday at the Duval County Jail, online records show. It’s unclear if he’s hired an attorney.

VICTORY: Appeals Court Denies Minnesota’s Bid to Keep Counting Absentee Votes 7 Days After Election

Absentee and mail-in ballots are due no later than 8pm on November 3, 2020, in the State of Minnesota after a ruling by an appeals court refused to allow a week-long grace period

Voters will have to play by the legislated rules in the State of Minnesota where absentee and mail-in ballots are concerned. A US appeals court had determined executive branch administrators do not have the authority, no matter how well intentioned, to circumvent legislated election law.

The 8th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on October 29, 2020, that the state’s plan to allow the counting of absentee ballots received up to 7 days after Election Day was unconstitutional.

The court rebuked Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon (D), the state’s top election official, saying absentee ballots in the battleground state are due by 8pm on election night.

“The Secretary’s instructions to count mail-in ballots received up to seven days after Election Day stand in direct contradiction to Minnesota election law governing presidential elections,” the ruling read.

“However well-intentioned and appropriate from a policy perspective in the context of a pandemic during a presidential election, it is not the province of a state executive official to re-write the state’s election code, at least as it pertains to selection of presidential electors. The democratically-enacted election rules in Minnesota provide that mail-in votes must be received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted (or 3:00 p.m. if delivered in person).”

“There is no pandemic exception to the Constitution,” the majority wrote.

Minnesota election law mandates that absentee ballots be received by Election Day. That deadline was extended through a settlement Simon reached with an activist group that sued earlier this year; a settlement that ignored legislated election law.

Simon called the ruling “a tremendous and unnecessary disruption,” in a statement issued Thursday night. “This last-minute change could disenfranchise Minnesotans who were relying on settled rules for the 2020 election; rules that were in place before the August 11 primary and were accepted by all political parties.”

Trump slams Twitter execs for ‘fixing’ the 2020 election

President Trump on Monday accused Twitter of “fixing” the election by suppressing The Post’s coverage of Hunter Biden’s business dealings and by boosting negative media coverage of his administration.

At his first rally on Election Day eve in Fayetteville, NC, the commander-in-chief accused Twitter executives and “big tech” of making unflattering media coverage of him their top trending topic in a bid to oust him.

“I see it on Twitter: ‘Trending, trending, trend,’ right? It’s not trending. They put the most boring thing. Anything bad about me: ‘Number one in the world on trend,'” he told a crowd of supporters.

“Boring stuff. I mean like stuff, oh, as opposed to affairs, scandals. They don’t even put that stuff up. It’s Trump: two, three, four, five items. It’s a fix. It’s a fix,” he went on.

The president called the Silicon Valley company “phony guys who fix the elections” and said it should be subject to campaign finance violations for blocking its users from sharing The Post’s expose on the Biden family’s murky dealings in China and Ukraine.

The platform also shut down The Post’s official account for two weeks but capitulated Friday under immense political pressure.

“They’re like a hero paper,” Trump said in Fayetteville on Monday.

The commander-in-chief in May signed an executive order to curtail Section 230, a federal law that prevents tech titans from being held liable for the content their users post.

But as the companies have moved to moderate the content — including slapping fact check labels on the president’s tweets — critics have accused social media giants of becoming “publishers” as opposed to “platforms.”

The CEOs of Google, Twitter and Facebook were hauled before Congress last month in a hearing on Section 230 and were grilled over censorship concerns in the wake of the Hunter Biden exposé.

Meet Arnon Mishkin: Democrat Political Consultant Who Will Determine Next President for Fox News

The man who heads up the team election night ‘Decision Desk’ at Fox News has worked with high profile Democrats from Los Angeles to New York

The Fox News “Decision Desk” has a reputation for being accurate, but that team is not without its associative bias. In fact, the lead on that team has worked with a notable Democrat political consultant who represented Tom Bradley, Ed Koch, and Michael Bloomberg.

Arnon Mishkin, 65, leads the Decision Desk team of statisticians, number crunchers, and political scientists who will scrutinize the vote count – the group that will eventually call the election for either President Trump or Democrat challenger Joe Biden.

This team analyzes the completed polling numbers, historical trends, and reports coming out of the election authorities – as well as exit polling, and determines its best guess at who the winners will be, not only in the presidential race, but in House and Senate races, as well.

Mishkin, who aside from heading up FOX News’ Decision Desk, heads his own consultancy that advises media companies on marketing and digital strategies. But it’s who Mishkin is associated with that has the tendency to raise eyebrows where being truly non-partisan is concerned.

Mishkin is married to Susan Fine, who today is a real estate developer. Fine previously served as an editor for the decidedly left-leaning NBC News. As an aside, these two high-profile individuals do not have Wikipedia entries in their names.

In Maine Senate Race, Sara Gideon’s Ethics Violation Paid Off

Gideon receives $280,000 from EMILY's List after breaking ethics rules to contribute to leader's 2016 run

One of the Democratic candidates on the receiving end of political contributions that earned Maine Democrat Sara Gideon a slap on the wrist from the state ethics commission is now in charge of a pro-abortion juggernaut that has spent six-figures in support of Gideon's Senate run, according to campaign disclosures.

Emily Cain was running for U.S. Congress when she received illegal straw donations from Gideon, who was fined by the Maine Ethics Commission for using her corporate-funded leadership PAC to reimburse herself for personal political donations. Now Cain is the executive director of EMILY's List, a pro-abortion group that has endorsed Gideon and funneled nearly $280,000 in individual contributions to her campaign, according to Federal Elections Commission data.

Gideon's donations, first reported by the Free Beacon last summer, were in clear violation of laws prohibiting political donors from making contributions in the name of another person or entity. Maine disclosures showed that Gideon was openly using her PAC, which received money directly from Verizon, Walmart, and several other big-name corporations, to reimburse herself for donations such as the $1,250 she gave to Cain's failed 2016 congressional campaign.

Gideon said her illegal contributions were due to "incorrect guidance" she received from an adviser. She was found guilty of ethics violation by the state's ethics commission, which voted unanimously to fine her $500 for the straw donations.

Under Cain's leadership, EMILY's List has been one of Gideon's biggest backers. The group issued a day-one endorsement for Gideon's campaign to unseat incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins in June 2019, giving the candidate an early boost in the Democratic primary.

The support from the pro-abortion group is not unwarranted—during Gideon's tenure as House speaker, she has pushed through several pro-abortion bills. She cosponsored and passed one law to authorize taxpayer-funded abortions and spearheaded others that expanded abortion access, even over pushback from fellow Democrats. In addition to EMILY's List, Gideon's pro-abortion stance has appealed to other abortion groups, including NARAL and Planned Parenthood, which have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Gideon's campaign for Senate.

Kabul University attack: Islamic State claims responsibility after 22 people killed in Afghanistan

The Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorist group has claimed responsibility for an attack on Kabul University on Monday in which at least 22 people died, including students, after gunmen stormed the campus.

The group’s Amaq News Agency sent out a message claiming Islamic State had carried out the attack and had targeted judges, investigators, and security teams working for the government. It claimed 80 people had been killed in the incident.

The official number of those killed stands at 22, however, with more than 20 other people wounded.

Shots were first heard at around 11.30am local time, before an hours-long battle between the attackers and Afghan security forces. The three perpetrators were killed, according to the country’s interior ministry spokesperson Tariq Arian, who described the assault on the university as a “savage terrorist attack.”

President Ashraf Ghani branded the violence an attack on “the honor, advancement, and bright future of Afghanistan,” and the Afghan government has declared Tuesday a national day of mourning.

Local media reports said there had been an explosion and gunfire at a book fair at the university, which had been attended by Afghan and Iranian officials, including the Iranian ambassador to Afghanistan. Footage showed students being evacuated from the campus, and people could be seen running, to the backdrop of loud bangs.

One student, Fathullah Moradi, who escaped through the university’s gates, told Reuters: “They were shooting at every student they saw.”

Islamic State also claimed responsibility for a bomb attack at a Kabul education center just over a week ago that killed 24 people.

Bloodshed has continued in the country, despite recent peace talks between the Taliban and the government, with the UN envoy for Afghanistan, Deborah Lyons, warning of “near-record violence.”

On Monday, in a separate incident, a vehicle struck a roadside mine in Afghanistan’s Helmand province, killing at least seven people.
