The tranny baker crew that appeared a few weeks ago decided to interpret a Q post wrong and start a big fight by changing the graphic for no reason. I don't give a shit about the graphic, but the new bakers are absolutely malicious.

Did you forget to plug in another cable, or bend a pin inserting one? Remove wall power and battery if present, remove all drives and all but one ram stick if removable, plug power back in and try to start it.

If it shorted yes. But the video card slot is hard to damage. Also try unplugging and replugging the power supply. If all that fails, you can still recover the drive with a USB adapter for whatever the SSD's standard is.

I'm sure you'll get it. But avoid plugging in internal peripherals while the machine is on. Even something like an internal USB header can let out the smoke if you manage to plug it in just the wrong way.

New MB and PSU are about the best shotgun fix you can do. Be careful removing and reinstalling everything. Twist the CPU heatsink a bit if the thermal paste is stuck, don't attempt tp pull up directly.
