DO NOT GIVE UP YOUR BALLOT TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON, except YOU PERSONALLY putting it in a machine.
This is how voter fraud takes place.
If you can't stay to cast your vote, see the Clerk and have your "vote" reinstated… then and only then turn over your ballot.
Once you hand it over, "you have voted" and it cannot be undone.
