Home(48)HunterHardDriveGate:The letter From the Entrepreneur to the Governor Should be Previewed by the Princeling
This is a letter from WADE RANDLETT, CEO of General Biofuels, to ERIC SCHWERIN in 2010 and forwarded to Hunter Biden. This letter is actually addressed to the governor of Delaware. Wade Landett had to give Hunter Biden a look before sending an email to the governor.
In 2010, Hunter Biden had established his own SENECA consulting company, which was actually a company that used Joe Biden’s contacts to lobby and blend. It is reasonable to think that Joe Biden has been in the state Senate since 1972, so when Wade Landt wants to lobby the state to gradually build a clean energy project, it makes sense to come to Hunter.
Here are some background information about WADE RANDLETT and ERIC SCHWERIN. After reading these background information, you will find that these people have some common characteristics. They are all long-term positions related to Chinese affairs and are members of the Obama administration.
1)WADE RANDLETT, FOUNDING BOARD MEMBER
Wade Randlett is the CEO of the transportation fuels division of General Biofuels. For the previous decade, Mr. Randlett co-founded and served as a senior executive for a variety of bio-diesel enterprises which sourced, manufactured, and sold bio-diesel worldwide. Prior to his work in renewable fuels, Mr. Randlett co-founded Technology Network, Silicon Valley’s bi-partisan political action committee. At TechNet, he was responsible for the strategy and execution of TechNet’s federal and state agenda. Mr. Randlett negotiated with the White House and Congress over issues including securities litigation reform, H1-B Visa expansion, China MFN status, and FASB stock option treatment. Among his outside activities, Mr. Randlett served on the Obama-Biden transition team, focused on policy change in the Environmental Protection Agency. He was later appointed twice to four-year terms by President Obama to serve on the Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN) to the United States Trade Representative, from which he holds Top Secret security clearance. Mr. Randlett was the first outside Board of Directors member of E-Loan (Nasdaq: EELN), serving through its IPO, on its audit committee through the Sarbanes-Oxley transition, and until its $425 million all-cash acquisition by Banco Popular. Mr. Randlett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Princeton University and a juris doctorate from the University of San Francisco.
2) ERIC SCHWERIN is a member of the board of advisors of ABD Group. Mr. Schwerin is President of RSP Investments in Washington, DC. He currently serves as Member of the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad, having been appointed to that position by President Obama in April 2015. Before entering the private sector, Mr. Schwerin served in the U.S. Government as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and at the White House as the Director of Business Liaison and as the Policy and Outreach Coordinator for the China Trade Relations Working Group (or China PNTR War Room). Shortly after leaving the U.S. Government, Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Zoellick named Mr. Schwerin to the U.S. Governments Industry Trade Advisory Committee (ITAC) for Information Technology. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of 826DC, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting disadvantaged students ages 6 through 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Mr. Schwerin received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters Degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University.
