Anecdote, could mean nothing, but in my SoCal neighborhood last night it was weirdly, wonderfully quiet. No assholes with glasspack mufflers circling the neighborhood at all hours, no fireworks, not even any car accidents or emergency sirens. The only loud sound we heard, early in the evening, was a helicopter flying over so low the walls were shaking. Don't know what it means, but on election eve it seems pretty notable.
