PennsylvaniaAnon reporting in.

Last night I promised Anon that I would report voter turnout when I got home from voting…

We are not in Philly, but are one county away from it. Tried to vote earlier today but was not willing to wait in line in the bitter cold. The line wrapped around two sides of the school building. We only live a few blocks away so we came home and tried again an hour and a half later. Line was still just as long. We bit the bullet and waited in line this time.

No monkey business as far as we could tell. No candidates were present at all to harass us…as happened many times in the past. No one was handing out campaign literature, as was done many times in the past. Social distancing was strictly observed by everyone, inside and outside without anyone needed to remind us.which made it look like the turnout was more than it really was.

It is less turnout that the complete circus of Obama's first run in 2008, where the lines without Social distancing wrapped completely around the building, out through the entire parking lot and down the sidewalk a full city block. Today was also less than 2016, but in 2016 there was just a normal amount of absentee ballots, so it is difficult to say how today's final numbers will tally up in comparison.

I want to repeat, we saw no indication of any shady activity the polling place today.

We have pizza ready to pop in the oven when the polls close at 8 tonight. And a plethora of munchies and beverages. Been looking forward to this day and night for a while.
