Bad voting experience
Oak Grove Baptist Church, Sterling, VA, where I’ve voted in 3 Presidential elections, always had their voting booths with my back up to the wall. This time they were all along the wall, with my ballot and back open to the room. They always had 2 tables out front giving suggested choices for each party. They had signs for both sides. None of that for Trump this year.
ALL signs, tables, volunteers, and sample ballots were Democrat. There was no evidence at all of Republican anything, and I had to put my ballot really close to my body to cover it. Volunteers were wandering around close enough to easily see, and when I put my ballot in the machine, the lady quickly came over like she was helping me. I didn’t need help. It’s pretty obvious she was copping a look. Really different experience than all other years. The intimidation was strong, but technically no laws were broken, and my little community will never get on their radar to change anything. Sad.
