Remember, there are 15 states that have enacted the popular vote compact into law. This means that those 15 states will, by law, have to award their electors to the candidate who wins the national popular vote. Look this up. These are ALL blue states. CA, NY, NJ, IL, Mass, Maryland, Wash, Vermont, RI, DC, Conn, Delaware, NM, Co. If Trump wins the national popular vote he could take over 500 electoral votes.
