I'm thinking these are more about stockpiling essentials like tp, flour, canned goods, various non-perishable food just to maintain their profits if there's a disruption. Also they may be running out of storage for goods made in ChYna that they've been stockpiling expecting them to be greatly diminished in availability soon.
